About This Dog

Duke's ideal home

Duke is a wonderful boy who came in to our care with limited information. He has spent a short time in foster where he had a blast! He is mostly house-trained, loves to snooze and comes over for some scratches when he fancies them. Duke would like to have company for most of the day as we don't know if he would be comfortable being left home alone. We are preferably looking for a family who are experienced dog owners for this handsome chap. A home with direct access to a secure garden would be preferred as this will aid with his training. Duke can be worried around other dogs so would prefer to be the only pet in the home and would be happy sharing his home with children over the age of 12.

Could you be Duke's perfect match?

Duke's new family should be willing to work on his training, which does include socialising with other dogs as he can be reactive when he sees a dog in the distance. He is very focused and intelligent and has been making lots of progress with his training at the centre. This boy's biggest love in life is a tennis ball and he loves playing fetch and he is going to make a fantastic, lively addition to a home.
