Description

Jake's ideal home

Jake is a beautiful bundle of love who is looking for an adult only home with not too many visitors (as he finds meeting new people a bit overwhelming). He'd really love to find a forever family who can spend some time getting to know all about him and will visit the centre a few times to become best friends! Jake doesn't know he's an older gent and loves nothing more that getting out and about in the countryside for peaceful walkies. He will need to be the only pet in his new home, but is learning how to socialise and is slowly making lots of doggy friends. Jake does wear his muzzle out on his walks, but he doesn't mind as he knows he looks super handsome! Jake has been spending some time with his carers in a foster home, where he's been housetrained and the perfect house guest. He's loved curling up on the sofa for a snooze and watching a film! Jake loves soft cuddly toys and loves throwing them around and getting the zoomies! He's a bit of a "velcro" dog and would like adopters who can be home with him most of the time.

Could you be Jake's perfect match?

Jake is the most handsome boy who always makes us smile with his goofy personality. He loves fuss and cuddles from his carers and thinks himself quite the lapdog! Jake does have some ongoing medical needs and is currently doing physio sessions at the centre (which he loves). Our team here would recommend he continues this as well as hydrotherapy too! We would be happy to talk you through all of Jake's needs if you think you could be a paw-fect match!

Doberman Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Doberman.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
